We planned a large project in Goolwa to demolish our existing beach house and rebuild a more substantial house able to accommodate our entire family including grandchildren. We have been fortunate to have lived in some very high-quality houses and so a quality build was high on our agenda.

Having completed the initial design, the important next step was to choose a builder. Some friends were building with Matt and they were very enthusiastic about the flexibility of the 4Life team and their attention to detail and quality. Further enquiries showed nothing but praise for the whole 4Life team.

4Life managed the entire project, including demolition of our old house, an extensive excavation and retaining walls through to the completed project. As we have completed several other projects, we wanted to work with some suppliers we have used before.  Our added input was fully taken on board and co-ordinated by Matt and Lucy – communication was critical and everything worked well.

The project was undertaken in the worst of the building shortages and cost blowouts in the Covid period. It was completed with minimal issues in both time and cost which was outstanding in the environment at the time.

Matt and his team are exceptionally easy to work with, extremely professional and always willing to listen and talk through any potential issues.  Small bumps in the road were always ironed out with easy conversation.

The house has fully met all out expectations for quality and the whole experience has been the least stressful of any building project I have been involved with.  Thanks Matt and all the team – we love it!
